Praia do Meio, with the whole of Natal within reach

The hotel stands on the urban shoreline where Natal meets the Atlantic. The sand is a short stroll away, and behind it the city keeps its forts, museums and lighthouses close enough to fill several unhurried days.

It is a neighbourhood you learn quickly: one avenue along the water, a handful of crossings, and everything else a taxi ride at most.

Wide stretch of pale sand and blue water on the Natal coast

Discover Natal

Natal is a city of dunes, wide beaches and a colonial fort guarding the river mouth. Start with the shoreline in front of the hotel, then work outwards: the fort at the point, the lighthouse above Mãe Luiza, the dune park in the middle of the city, and the lagoons further north.

Days here divide easily. Mornings belong to the beach while the sand is still cool, the middle of the day to the pool or a museum with the air conditioning running, and the evening to the promenade, where the kiosks fill up and the light goes gold along the water.

Stay where the coast starts

Praia do Meio puts the water at the end of the street and the rest of Natal within a short drive. Choose your dates and you can plan the days once you are here, with the beach already decided for you.
